Cat Sitting Service

“Dogs come when they’re called; cats take a message and get back to you later.”

Cats are very territorial animals and creatures of habit. While we humans love experiencing new things, cats like to stay in their own, safe home environment. We visit your cat/s once or twice a day to check on his well being and give a little companionship and tlc. Visits will usually include the following:-

  • Feeding and fresh water (according to your instructions)
  • Daily cleaning of bowls and feeding area
  • Cleaning of litter tray including whole content change
  • Clearing up of any kitty mishaps
  • Grooming
  • Pampering and Playtime!
  • Text or Email updates if requested

Dog Walking/Sitting Service

“A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than you love yourself.”

All dogs love company and all, except for real old timers, need exercise and playtime.

We can come in to take your dog for a walk or let your dog out into the garden for a play and toilet break.

Our one hour dog walks are in small groups of three or four, although we also walk dogs individually if the owner requests.

Our home visiting service is for puppies or older dogs and these visits are usually 30 mins.   We can visit your dog once, twice or three times a day.  Each visit will include:-

  • Providing fresh water
  • Feeding (as per your instructions)
  • Letting out into the garden
  • Pampering and Playtime
  • Clearing up of any indoor doggy mishaps

Dogs requiring more exercise can be walked as part of the home visit.

Dogs are walked off lead with your permission.

We dog walk throughout the day so give us a call if you wish to request a morning or afternoon/early evening walk.

For short/long term holiday cover we provide a first class dog boarding service – Dogs are boarded in my home and looked after as part of the family. They are walked locally twice a day (depending on breed and age) and have access to a large, safe garden.  Text or Email updates available if requested. Long term holiday cover is available if your dog has stayed with me before.  Before your dog boards with us I usually advise that he/she comes for a day visit to get acquainted and to familiarise your dog with our home.

We would love to meet you and your dog and provide an opportunity to meet with us in our home if you are considering boarding.  We understand the need to feel comfortable with your dog walker/boarder and therefore there is no obligation to book our service after we have met.

Other Small Pets

“Breeding rabbits is a hare-raising experience!”

All pets need looking after while we take that well earned break. Rabbits and Guinea Pigs, Hamsters and Gerbils are all looked after as per your detailed instructions. We also look after fish and reptiles. Prices depend on the level of care required for your pet, so please use the contact form stating in detail the level of care required and your holiday dates and we will get back to you with a quote.

Complementary Home Care Services -

Daily Visits:

  • Bringing in the mail to a safe and secure location
  • Watering/Feeding a reasonable number of house plants
  • Putting out and bringing in the refuse and recycling bins as instructed

 

Twice Daily Visits:

As for Once Daily plus:

  • Leaving on a light or two in the evening and turned off in the morning (if timers are not used)
  • Opening & closing the curtains morning & evening

KEYS/Key Holding Service

I take security very seriously. Your keys are kept locked away and separately to your personal details. Keys are handed over at the initial consultation but can be dropped off at a later date if preferred by the client.

Purr-fect Kitty holds keys and information for clients who want to use the pet sitting service regularly. If clients would prefer to drop their keys off each time a pet sit is booked then keys can be collected from me at any time by the client at the end of the pet sit. We do not hand over client’s keys to any third party unless we have written authorisation from the client.  The main advantage of allowing Purr-fect Kitty to hold your keys is that future pet sits can be organised with the minimum of fuss. The keys and information are already in my possession and bookings can be made by email or telephone.

Home Delivery

If you require Pet Food, Litter or Straw to be delivered to your home at the start of the pet sit, please ask.

We can also arrange a welcome home pack of basic essentials.

Receipts for any purchases will be attached to the remaining balance invoice which should be settled within 7 days of your return.

Garden Plant Watering Service

If you require hanging baskets, garden plants and grass watered during the summer months please ask for a quote.
